Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for overseeing and directing revenue generation for an Ingenuity program. Oversees the preparation of financial reports and revenue generating activities. Ensures revenue goals are met. Oversees the operational planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of a multifaceted program. Responsible for the fiscal, operational, administrative management of the program. Seeks and develops outside funding sources. Serves as principal point of representation and liaison with external constituencies on operational matters and provides day-to-day technical and professional guidance as leadership to the area of expertise.
  • Supervises administrative staff, which includes prioritizing and assigning work; conducting performance evaluations; ensuring staff is trained; ensuring employees follow policies and procedures; maintaining a healthy and safe working environment; and, making hiring, termination, and disciplinary recommendations.
  • Manages and oversees the administrative and daily operations of the program, ensuring compliance with college, state, and federal policies and regulations. Provides technical and/or professional coordination and leadership in the execution of day-to-day program/project activities, as appropriate to program objectives and area of expertise.
  • Prepare or oversee the preparation of financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and analyses of future earnings or expenses. Preside over budgets to set and meet goals. Manages contract, grant, and/or state funding; approves and monitors budget expenditures; prepares budget revisions; provides interim status reports on all accounts; oversees, coordinates, and/or assists with proposal writing to develop additional funding.
  • Find and implement ways to increase revenue. Oversee the investment of funds, manage associated risks, supervise cash management activities, and execute capital-raising strategies to support the program's expansion. Establish procedures for custody and control of assets, records, loan collateral, and securities, in order to ensure safekeeping. Generate revenue reports. Solicit business and direct the investment of funds, always adhering to Federal and State laws and regulations.
  • Oversees and/or coordinates the collection, compilation, and analysis of program activity data; develops, writes, and presents comprehensive statistical and narrative program reports.
  • Assists in producing, developing, advertising, and marketing project(s) and/or product(s) in various media such as print and video; may assist in developing teaching materials, handouts, news releases, pamphlets, and brochures.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
  • Minimum Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Five (5) years of program management and revenue generation experience.

  • Excellent customer service and communication (oral and written) skills are essential for this position.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential for this position.
  • Valid New Mexico Driver's License.
  • Preferences:
  • Experience working for a 2-year higher education institution or proprietary school
  • Experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as six sigma, lean, AGILE
  • Experience in reading and reviewing contracts
  • Business start-up or demonstrated entrepreneurial initiative
  • Formal Project Management experience such as PMP Certification
  • Experience in using SharePoint
  • Work Schedule:Forty hours a week, generally 8 - 5 Monday - Friday, although some nights and weekends may be required to support the needs of the department
